Mentors May Be Key for Girls Returning to School Amid Pandemic (U.S. News & World Report)

In Tanzania, AfricAid partner GLAMI has done the almost unthinkable: at a time when so much justified concern exists about girls not returning to school in the wake of COVID, they saw a return rate of more than 99% of girls in their mentoring programs after schools reopened in Tanzania. Girls are continuing their education because of their thoughtful, holistic approach during school closures.
