Join AfricAid for an International Women’s Day celebration! On this day we celebrate the accomplishments of women who have broken barriers in their professions and paved the way for the next generation.
As we look towards the future of women, specifically internationally, we believe that education is key to continuing to empower girls & women to break barriers and pursue their personal and professional goals.
We are honored to have Kayla Fruchtman, from The Her Initiative, and Donna Daniell, from Balance Your Life, as our guest speakers. Other presentations include a video presentation from our Kili for Kisa climbers about their life-changing climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro alongside 5 Tanzanian women.
Other highlights include The Long I Pie Shop pies, Ratio Beerworks beer and wine from Wild Women Winery. We will be highlighting the women behind these great businesses!
